Anxiety
Anxiety can manifest in a multitude of ways. You overthink, catastrophize outcomes, worry, have difficulty concentrating; the list goes on. Living in NYC, we are constantly exposed to overstimulating environments and social interactions that leave us feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. You are not alone, and I am here to help you!
My approach:
Anxiety management is a practice, and one I believe involves a better understanding of our mind and body connection. In my therapeutic practice, I utilize CBT to help clients understand how anxiety impacts our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; in addition to Mindfulness techniques to help increase awareness of this process in order to calm and regulate our anxious responses.
What sets me apart:
Iām a person who has anxiety! I disclose this because due to my own journey of calming and healing my anxious thoughts and feelings, I am able to have a deep understanding that allows me to empathize and support my clients in their unique experiences. I am knowledgeable and passionate about helping my clients learn to live more sustainably with anxiety in order to reach their goals!
